Pre-Booking Specialist The Pre-Booking Specialist assists in coordinating non-emergency medical transportation by proactively contacting healthcare facilities to pre-schedule ambulance transports. This role involves working closely with the Business Development Department and the Managing Director to forecast call volumes and ensure efficient scheduling and communication with dispatch and operations teams. Key Responsibilities Call hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and clinics to confirm and pre-book patient transports. Maintain and update the pre-booking calendar with schedules. Build rapport with facility contacts and provide excellent customer service. Communicate scheduling updates to dispatch and staff. Identify opportunities for additional transports or follow-ups. Support administrative tasks related to scheduling and account management. Accurately document all pre-booked calls in relevant systems. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred. Experience in healthcare, scheduling, or customer service preferred. Excellent communication and phone etiquette. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems quickly. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills (Tagalog, Spanish, or Chinese dialects) are a plus. Familiarity with EMS or medical transportation is a plus.
