We are hiring for Program Coordinators at Clubs located in Healdsburg, Cloverdale, Geyserville, Santa Rosa, Roseland, and Rohnert Park. Position Overview:
Program Coordinators work directly with Members, Monday through Friday, during PM shifts. The role may include overseeing a group of up to 20 Members and involves preparing and implementing camp programs. The ideal candidate is fun, patient, and enjoys working with youth. Responsibilities:
Program Implementation:
Implement programs aligned with the Youth Development Strategy & Formula for Impact Assessment, utilizing local and national programs to create an engaging environment. Focus on five core areas: Education & Career Development; Fine Arts; Sports, Fitness & Recreation; Health & Life Skills; and Character & Leadership Development. Keep records of participation and maintain a 20:1 staff-to-member ratio. Role Modeling:
Believe in every youth's potential, create a positive environment, and foster youth development outcomes such as Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character. Maintain enthusiasm and a caring attitude in interactions with Members. Communication:
Participate actively in daily and weekly communication with staff and volunteers. Safety:
Ensure a safe, clean environment, follow policies, and supervise Members appropriately to maintain safety at all times. Discipline:
Use appropriate discipline strategies to promote safety and enjoyment, encouraging responsible behavior and high expectations. Facility Management:
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and appealing Club environment. Additional Responsibilities:
May operate the Child Nutrition Program, including serving meals, supervising during meal times, and recording required documentation per CACFP standards. Qualifications:
At least 18 years old. Experience with youth in a Boys & Girls Club or similar program preferred. Group leadership skills and understanding of group dynamics. Physical Requirements:
