HR Specialist who takes the lead in HR processes
(36-40 hrs a week, based in either Eindhoven or Lommel)
As an HR Specialist at Renewi, you’ll play a key role in shaping and improving HR processes across multiple countries. You’ll translate policies into action, lead HR transformation projects, and ensure our HR operations are future-proof, efficient, and impactful. All of this while being part of a company that puts sustainability at its core.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- HR Process Optimization: Improve and simplify HR processes across different divisions and regions.
- HR Systems & Digitalization: Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of HR systems (Workday knowledge = a big plus!).
- Project Leadership: Lead and contribute to HR transformation projects, such as optimizing processes for company cars, onboarding & offboarding, and other key HR topics.
- Compliance & Regulations: Stay ahead of changing legislation and translate regulations into practical HR solutions.
- Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with HR teams, COEs, finance, and external partners to drive continuous improvement.
- HR Data: Collect, analyze, and interpret data and create reports to help the business make strategic HR decisions.

What do you Bring?
- A Bachelor’s degree (HBO/WO) and 5 years of experience in (HR) process optimization.
- A structured and project-driven approach – you connect the dots and make things happen.
- Strong analytical skills, a hands-on mentality, and a proactive attitude.
- Experience with Workday or other HR systems is a plus.
- You are fluent in English and ideally you also speak and understand some Dutch.
