This posting is a recruitment for either a
Branch Operations Specialist
or a
Branch Operations Officer , depending on experience and qualifications. Details of each position are noted below. Summary for Both Positions
Provides personalized banking services to clients by performing various duties. Requires strong knowledge of Banking Operations, leadership, training, and support to staff. Has extensive understanding of banking products and services and supports the Branch Manager in promoting branch growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Schedule branch staff for appropriate coverage. Ensure a positive customer experience. Maintain operational standards and review branch documentation for adherence. Ensure accuracy of Branch Certification package. Maintain branch security through staff training and security procedures. Resolve account disputes and communicate account activity to clients. Handle daily operational duties such as file maintenance and reports. Review reports and approve or decline exceptions within authority limits. Perform teller duties, open new accounts, and conduct related follow-ups. Review new account openings for compliance. Answer phones and address escalated customer concerns. Minimum of 10 hours CRA volunteer hours per year, with scheduling within business hours; time and mileage reimbursed. Other duties as assigned. Sales Responsibilities
For Officer role: Lead sales programs, evaluate client needs, work on business development, maintain relationships, and generate new business. Leadership and Service
For Specialist and Officer: Provide operational guidance, recognize staff, foster professional development, set team goals, listen to clients, resolve difficult situations, and partner with the Branch Manager. Supervisory Responsibilities
Specialist: Manage up to 2 employees. Officer: Manage up to 5 employees. Responsibilities include performance assessment, scheduling, transaction processing, and supporting the Branch Manager. Qualifications
Specialist: Minimum 5 years banking, 2 years supervisory, 2 years operations, proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; Notary Public preferred. Officer: Minimum 8 years banking, 4 years supervisory, 4 years operations, proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; Notary Public preferred. Additional Information
