is seeking dedicated individuals to become
School Bus Drivers.
If you
have a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience, can obtain a CDL (or already possess your CDL), are at least 21 years old, and able to pass a background check , CCPS wants to hear from you!
Whether you are looking for an entry-level opportunity to earn your CDL, or already have CDL driving experience, this is the fulfilling career for you’ve been looking for.

CCPS is always looking for key players to move into higher level roles. You could become an Area Manager or a Trainer. If you have your bachelor’s degree and want to become a Teacher, CCPS will pay for you to receive your teaching certificate! Essential duties/responsibilities:
Safely operates all types of school buses; maintains a regular schedule for picking up authorized staff and students and delivering them to schools according to schedule. Makes daily safety inspection of vehicle and equipment; ensures that vehicle is regularly maintained and keeps the vehicle clean, properly heated and ventilated. Assists students on to or out of the vehicle; enforces safety and conduct regulations. Maintains records and prepares required reports. Makes reports to school officials concerning student disciplinary actions, incidents or injuries. Participates and successfully passes all training required by state and federal law, and by School Board policies, regulations and procedures. Provides basic first aid and/or prescribed health care as necessary for students. Performs other related duties as assigned.
