River Region Psychiatry Associates is seeking a board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide compassionate, high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position involves working with adolescent (ages 13-18), adult, and geriatric patients, with a focus on youth in our 12-bed adolescent unit. Our facility, a 60 bed free standing unit in Charleston, SC also offers Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).Responsibilities:Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patientsDeliver both inpatient and outpatient care in a collaborative environmentOffer clinical supervision to a team of mid-level providersParticipate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support integrated patient careParticipate in call rotation with 1 weekend per month, including roundingEnsure compliance with documentation and care standardsRequirements:Board Certification in Child and Adolescent PsychiatryValid medical license in the state of South CarolinaExperience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, particularly with adolescent populationsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based setting *All final candidates will be background and drug screened.
