Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse and Director of Nursing, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct resident care duties within their scope of certification and helps maintain a positive environment for residents.

Job Description
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and changing linens.
- Support resident activity programs.
- Prepare residents for meals, assist with eating, and record food intake.
- Follow daily care plans, perform restorative procedures, report changes in condition, document care, and report incidents.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation rules, report injuries or violations.
- Promote resident rights and compliance with regulations and policies.
- Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators, presenting a professional appearance and attitude.
- Must be fully trained to serve as a Transportation Aide.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the State, with preferably one year of experience.
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to relate positively to residents, families, staff, and management.
- Compliance with company policies, including Time and Attendance.
- Physical and sensory abilities include walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine motor skills, hearing, smelling, reading, writing, and communication skills. Must remain calm under stress.
- Meet all health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.
- Capable of performing essential job functions with or without accommodations.
Various shifts available: FT 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am.
