Your Role As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization’s success. You will work closely with our dedicated teams to develop effective solutions that align with CPC’s strategic goals. Summary:
The Senior Product Manager will lead the thermal management market strategy and grow the chosen markets by identifying potential products; conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and integrated plans for product introduction. The position will develop marketing strategies and manage the technical and business aspects of newly introduced product lines to satisfy our customers' needs and maximize revenue and profit. The Senior Product Manager will oversee the management of the product portfolio, reinforcing and protecting sales performance of thermal products, supporting profitable growth, and managing the lifecycle of thermal products. Responsibilities: Develop and manage the market roadmap for thermal management market opportunities. Determine customers' needs utilizing market research and customer relationships. Assess market competition by comparing CPC products to competitors' products. Recommend future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product changes. Develop and manage the thermal management product roadmap. Define product marketing communication objectives. Obtain product market share by working with market managers and sales. Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts. Collaborate with operations on product stocking and inventory needs. Facilitate inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules. Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules. Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Promote and train the CPC organization globally on the product attributes and key messages. Develop relationships with key decision makers and strategic accounts. Manage Thermal Product & Project Managers based in St. Paul. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Qualifications Basic Requirements: Minimum 7+ years of product marketing experience. Minimum 5+ years of experience defining and launching new products to market. Preferred Qualifications: MBA from an accredited institution. Experience working with thermal systems and/or components used in thermal systems. Proven experience developing and implementing effective product development plans and strategies in a B2B setting. Comfortable with ambiguity. Creative problem solver with a global perspective. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience with fluid handling products/markets. Experience working with and understanding distribution channel dynamics. Travel:
