About The Position
Join a talented and cohesive team of physicians and CRNAs. We have a Full-time Anesthesia position with partnership opportunity available in our private practice group in Milford, MA, which is about 1/2 way between Boston and Worcester. The Anesthesiologist will occasionally be doing their own cases, more often supervising in a 1:2 ratio, except in endoscopy where the ratio is 1:4, sometimes 2:4. 8 ORs, 4 endoscopy suites, L&D. We do roughly 1000 deliveries per year, generally low acuity patients.
Compensation: $450,000 annual and Excellent Benefits
Case Mix:
OB, ortho (with a focus on regional/blocks), general surgery, gyn, urology, thoracic, spine, ENT, podiatry, endoscopy, healthy pedi ENT. No trauma, hearts, or vascular. Experience with ultrasound-guided regional blocks required.
Practice Details:
Up-to-date equipment and technology provided. Three excellent and detail-oriented anesthesia techs to support the department. Call is in house, with a CRNA in house as well. Call would initially be 1:9 since our colleagues' retirements but will move to 1:10 as we add new physicians. Supportive hospital administration. Congenial surgical colleagues and OR staff who share our focus on providing exceptional perioperative care. Specifically looking for a team player with a strong work ethic who gets along well with others.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program.
- Active Massachusetts medical license or eligibility for one.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology.
- ACLS and BLS certifications
