Maintenance Technician/Mechanic (food industry) - 3rd shift

At Sugar Bowl Bakery, keeping our ovens hot and our lines running overnight is just as important as the daytime hustle—and we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift. You’ll be the go-to fixer for everything from minor repairs to major equipment troubleshooting, helping us stay on track for a clean, smooth start each morning.

Key Responsibilities (Your Ingredients for the Night):

• Perform overnight preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues—quickly and safely
• Coordinate with QA and Sanitation for food-contact area repairs
• Log all activity in CMMS or designated paperwork
• Maintain clean, organized tools and workspace
• Follow GMPs, safety procedures, and all company policies

Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table):

• 3+ years of maintenance experience or technical training
• Electrical/mechanical aptitude (PLC, robotics, Allen-Bradley a plus)
• Experience with three-phase power systems, HVAC, refrigeration
• Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Able to lift 50–100 lbs and stay active through the shift
• Fluent in English (spoken/written); other languages a plus
• CMMS experience is a bonus

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time
• Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour
• Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, overnight shift, overtime, night shift (required)
