Purpose of the position:
To serve as the primary contact for families in a remote setting, reporting to the Supervisor of Student Services within the Customer Engagement & Retention Department. Responsibilities include customer support, onboarding, and academic placement for students, supporting families in Eastern or Central Standard Time zones. Core Tasks & Responsibilities:
Assist families via inbound calls with questions and account updates Advocate for students during their enrollment process Review student accounts, address outstanding tasks, and recommend actions for success Organize workflow to ensure effective time management, data accuracy, communication, and retention Maintain accurate student records in online systems Participate in outbound calls for onboarding and retention efforts Ensure compliance with FERPA regulations to protect student privacy Perform additional duties as assigned Skills:
Problem-solving with goal-oriented outcomes Excellent verbal and written communication Self-confidence, patience, empathy, and availability to connect with students and families Adaptability to multi-generational needs Troubleshooting and de-escalation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge of FERPA and privacy policies Pay and Benefits
The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.
