We are searching for a detail oriented, analytical, self-motivated Data Analyst to join our team. This role is an integral part of helping us meet our mission. Other qualities we need include:

Essential Functions

• Develop a strong understanding of data and reporting requests, including the purpose behind each request.
• Schedule and lead follow-up meetings when clarification or additional information is required, promoting clear and effective communication and collaboration.
• Analyze and discuss data trends through thorough research and review.
• Conduct independent research and collaborate with team members, vendors, and reference materials to fulfill requests accurately.
• Manage and prioritize tasks efficiently, with the flexibility to shift between assignments on short notice.
• Communicate proactively regarding availability to take on additional responsibilities when workload capacity allows.
• Execute detailed data integrity checks to ensure the accuracy of reports before distribution, acknowledging that end users may not have the tools or expertise to detect discrepancies.
  
  

Skills And Abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, pivot charts, and macros.
• Experience with report creation and business intelligence tools such as IBM Cognos, BI, Power BI, Microsoft Access, and SQL.
  
  

Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or minor in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field preferred.
