People First in Dyersburg Local Team Collaboration: * Join our close-knit team of nine physicians and two advanced practice providers at WTH - Dyersburg Hospital, with support from a clinical performance nurse. * Our cohesive team has built strong, enduring relationships, offering a stable and collaborative work environment. * If you have a genuine passion for emergency medicine and managing complex cases beyond the routine, we'd love to meet you. Qualifications: * Board-certified/eligible in emergency or family medicine with emergency medicine experience. * Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, and trauma care. Practice in the Heart of the Community Flexible Scheduling: * 24 hours of physician coverage complemented by 2-12 hour APP shifts/day (9a-9p and 2p-2a). * Access to a broad range of specialized services, including cardiology, pulmonology, general surgery, urology, GI pediatrics, OB, radiology, anesthesiology, nephrology, and endocrinology. Key Responsibilities: * Manage a 16-bed emergency department, seeing approximately 75 patients per day . * Care for patients in critical conditions, from motor vehicle collisions to violent crimes, with a focus on chest tube placements, intubations, and trauma care.
