Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a smile and friendly greeting.
- Assist customers and take their orders.
- Use suggestive selling techniques to help undecided customers.
- Operate a cash register.
- Perform side work duties as directed by the manager.
- Clean tables and counters in the dining area.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility.
- Manage food flow from kitchen to servers and delivery, if applicable.
- Communicate special instructions between kitchen staff, servers, delivery staff, and management.
- Know the menu, including ingredients and preparation of items.
- Stock food products and organize orders for tables.
- Make drinks, take orders, and ensure the work area is clean and orderly.
Qualifications
- 3-6 months cash operating experience.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Over 1 year of recent customer service experience.
- Ability to stand for entire shift.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable operating a cash register.
- Flexible with work hours.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
