Responsibilities

An SP+ Cashier creates a stress-free, efficient, and pleasant experience for each customer. Responsibilities include receiving payments for parking services and facilitating traffic flow through the facility.

What you’ll do

• Treat each customer with respect and kindness, ensuring positive interactions.
• Be punctual, in uniform, and prepared to assist customers.
• Count the cash bank at the start of each shift to verify the starting amount.
• Collect cash and validations, maintain cash security.
• Make change, issue receipts or tickets for transactions.
• Calculate or verify bills from tickets, quote prices, and assist customers with directions.
• Handle lost ticket forms and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
• Answer calls courteously, maintain booth cleanliness, and check inventory of supplies.
• Verify transaction logs against cash on hand, and prepare shift reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Requirements include a minimum of less than high school education or up to one month of related experience, a valid driver’s license if driving is required, basic mathematical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Physical demands involve sitting, handling objects, and occasional walking. The salary is $10.50/hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.
