Job Description

As a Cashier at Wingstop, you are responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and excellent customer service during the order taking process, whether by phone or in person. You must be quick and efficient in communicating with team members in both the front of house and back of house to ensure guest satisfaction and timely order delivery.

Qualifications / Education / Experience

• Experience using a computer and register (POS) system preferred
• Food Handler Certification required
• Strong cash handling skills
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights, and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Act with integrity, honesty, and promote the culture, values, and mission of Wingstop
• Greet all guests in a friendly manner, by phone or in person
• Place orders, upsell, and stay knowledgeable about menu items and promotions
• Monitor order readiness times and verify order accuracy and presentation
• Handle cash, credit card, and gift card transactions accurately and balance the register
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of the workplace, including restrooms
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain a professional appearance according to company standards
• Handle guest complaints and escalate when necessary
• Leave guests with a positive impression of Wingstop
