Mechanisms Engineer
will design, test, and optimize satellite deployment mechanisms for their cutting-edge constellation. The
Mechanisms Engineer
will join a fast-growing team and will pioneer the future of global connectivity, bringing experience with Aerospace, manufacturing, and Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT). Responsibilities of the
Mechanisms Engineer
include: Lead Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) of satellite deployment mechanisms
Vibration, shock, thermal vacuum (TVAC), & functional testing for LEO satellites
Iterate mechanism designs based on test/production feedback
Optimize manufacturing flow, cost, & satellite performance
Troubleshoot anomalies and conduct root-cause analysis for space-flight hardware Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows & develop test fixtures General technical reports on manufacturing processes, test results, and system trade studies Qualifications of the
Mechanisms Engineer
include: 3+ years of experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing Hands-on experience with Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) Experience with support equipment like jigs, test fixtures for vibration, shock or thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing Background performing root-cause analysis, troubleshooting mechanism failure, … Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Preferred: Experience designing automated test fixtures or working with sensors (torque, pressure) and software (C#, Python) for testing Compensation for the

$90,000-100,000
