Opened in December 2021, the IU Health Bloomington Hospital on the new Indiana University Regional Academic Health Center campus serves Hoosiers close to home in the south-central region. The 557 million dollar facility is designed to improve healthcare in South Central Indiana and help make Indiana one of the healthiest states in the nation. Shift work; 9 hours at IU Health Bloomington Hospital or 12 hours at smaller area hospitals including IU Health Bedford, Paoli and Morgan hospitals Schedule: Shifts vary month to month; typically 130 hours per month; days, evenings, nights Community based care with high acuity Procedures performed include endotracheal intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, and cardioversion Qualifications: BE/BC in Emergency Medicine required Fellowship trained preferred Compensation: Call or text for compensation details Comprehensive benefits package includes group insurance (health, dental, life, disability), 401k with company match, relocation assistance, and occurrence-based malpractice insurance coverage.
