Reporting to the Chief Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA will administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery under orders of an Anesthesiologist. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA will administer drugs and anesthetic agents and carry out life support functions. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA will also assist with emergency response as necessary.
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA will prepare the surgical site using aseptic techniques and deliver conscious sedation and psychological support to the patient as needed. Personality and communication skills are key, as the Perioperative Staff RN will provide emotional comfort and support to patients and family members as appropriate.
The CRNA will float to multiple hospitals in the San Francisco Bay Area, and will join a team of over 40 nurse providers.
The CRNA will be involved in numerous cases: Robotics, General Surgery, Ortho, Plastics, Urology, Vascular, OB, GYN, Pediatric and Urology.
The Certified Registered Nurse Assist will have the opportunity to live in one of the nation’s most iconic regions, the San Francisco Bay Area.
