Join our dedicated team at Home Instead as a valued Weekend On Call Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors. Your role will be crucial in providing support and care to our clients, allowing them to remain in their homes with dignity and respect.
The Weekend On Call CNA will be essential in filling in for emergency shifts when needed, providing invaluable assistance to our clients. This position is perfect for a CNA in good standing with the NCDHHS NA1 registry and committed to providing empathetic, high-quality care.
We offer:
A set rotating schedule for a minimum of one Saturday/Sunday shift each month, either from 8 am to 4 pm or 2 pm to 10 pm. There are also opportunities to pick up additional weekend shifts if desired. Compensation is at a rate of $20 per hour. Your primary responsibilities will include: Providing standby assistance, bathing, and incontinence care Offering companionship and engaging conversation Performing light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation Reminding clients about medications and appointments Offering specialized Alzheimer's care Facilitating incidental transportation to various appointments (doctors, hairdresser, shopping, etc.) Communicating with clients in a friendly and congenial manner Delivering kind, compassionate, and gentle care Requirements: Completion of a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen Possession of a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance (required) If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity to connect with seniors and provide much-needed support, we would love to hear from you!
