Job Summary:
A leading HVAC services company based in Staten Island, NY, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Mobile Service Technician to support clients across the Tri-State area. This full-time permanent role offers competitive pay of up to $70 per hour for the right candidate. The technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing chiller and HVAC systems, along with other general maintenance tasks at various client locations, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair services on commercial HVAC and chiller systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, and heating systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment to prevent system malfunctions.
- Provide emergency repair services and respond to urgent maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate service records, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and parts inventory.
- Travel to client sites throughout the Tri-State area, ensuring timely and professional service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and provide recommendations.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC or Chiller Technician, with expertise in commercial systems.
- Strong knowledge of chiller systems, including air-cooled and water-cooled units.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for HVAC and chiller systems.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across the Tri-State area.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
