Summary: As a member of this team, you will be collaborating with a group of architects, mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural engineers, and designers. You will be celebrated for your excellent communication skills and your ability to handle many projects and lots of moving parts. We are looking to complement our Structural Engineering department in our Denver office. Qualifications: Preference for candidates with experience in building construction and civil engineering. Knowledge of engineering software including RISA 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D. Extensive knowledge and experience in the use of Revit and AutoCAD. Experience working with the federal government desired; military experience a plus. Be self-motivated, able to perform and solve problems independently, and take the initiative to make sound decisions with minimal oversight. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be client service oriented. Permitted to work in the USA and may require a security clearance. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Rationalizing geometry for appropriate structural schemes. Rapidly develop structural models in various software packages. Annotating structural plans and details and assisting with narrative writing. Under general supervision, develop the designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, specifications, and engineering directives through final construction documents. Research design standards as well as assist with the preparation of engineering studies. Follow QA/QC process for work and coordinate work with other disciplines to ensure complete and accurate plans are provided.
