SAGE Consulting Engineers is a growing civil engineering firm specializing in land development and municipal infrastructure improvement projects. We work on a variety of projects, from infrastructure improvements to private development, providing high-quality designs and innovative solutions.
We are seeking an
Entry-Level Civil Engineer
to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience working on civil engineering projects in a collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and project managers to develop engineering designs, prepare plans, and support project execution.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing civil engineering drawings, reports, and calculations
Support design work for grading, drainage, utilities, and site development projects
Conduct research and assist with permitting and regulatory approvals
Perform quantity takeoffs and assist in cost estimating
Coordinate with team members, consultants, and clients
Conduct site visits and assist with field investigations
Ensure work complies with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
0-2 years of relevant experience (internships/co-op experience a plus)
EIT certification (or ability to obtain within one year)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Our team works closely with clients and project teams to develop coordinated and constructible projects that meet design objectives, budget, and schedule constraints.
Our engineers have comprehensive knowledge of AutoDesk Civil 3D software which facilitates accurate, cost-effective, and timely preparation of complex technical drawings and exhibits. Our experience with Navisworks and Revit software allows integration of 3D models from various disciplines, enabling real-time coordination with A/E building teams.
