Goldman Sachs ETF Accelerator is a new digital platform that enables our institutional clients to quickly and efficiently launch, list, and manage their ETFs. We’ve designed our technology to scale and to provide our ETF infrastructure as a service to our clients, allowing them to focus their time and resources where it matters most – generating alpha and raising assets. We are a global team of ETF specialists, software engineers and product managers with an entrepreneurial spirit who are passionate about solving problems and providing innovative solutions for our clients. The Role As a member of the PCM (Portfolio Implementation and Capital Markets) team, you will primarily be responsible for the implementation of our clients’ strategies within the 40 Act ETF structure. In addition, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and technologists to build a digital platform that will deliver scale and efficiency to the Portfolio Management process. The ideal candidate will have the ability to think outside the box, with a focus on how current industry practices can best be improved and automated. Bridging the information gap between business and engineering will be a crucial component of the role. You will be pulled into many different projects and should be able to thrive in an ever-changing environment. We are building a new business within Goldman Sachs, and are in search of candidates who are excited about joining us on that journey. Responsibilities Include Monitor and ensure that ETF portfolios are adhering to their given mandates (sector, issuer, risk characteristics, etc.) Generate and route orders for execution Effect rebalances on portfolios in an efficient manner: including close dialogue with client PMs on active portfolios to facilitate desired investment outcomes Perform portfolio optimization, with either a benchmark or active fund constraints Act as the equities and fixed income knowledge center: in depth understanding of multiple Fixed Income markets (rates, credit, structured products) required Liaise with ETF authorized participants, and Capital Markets specialists to facilitate the creation/redemption process Collaborate with clients on product ideas and implementation feasibility Partner with Client Development team to produce educational content for sales pitches Work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic team working environment Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of practical experience in trading or portfolio construction/portfolio management activities in the equities and/or fixed income space (preferably ETFs) Equities and/or Fixed Income trading experience Proficient in Excel, Bloomberg Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of ETF products Experience with Bloomberg AIM, EMSX Experience with MarketAxess, Tradeweb, or other Fixed Income trading venues Experience with portfolio optimization software Technical background About the company The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., is an American multinational investment bank and financial services company headquartered in New York City.
