We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.
Our founders are experienced telecommunications engineers with over 200 years of combined expertise in designing, optimizing, and performance engineering for major wireless carriers worldwide. They identified the need for low-power, cost-efficient sensors to collect data, generate alerts, and predict necessary actions. We integrate these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to help clients reduce recurring costs associated with operating IoT networks of sensors and connected devices.
We specialize in the design, deployment, optimization, and support of these networks. Whether off-the-shelf or custom solutions are required, we create tailored solutions and deploy data on the best cloud platform to meet your needs, including your own.
Job Description
* Perform complex installations, maintenance, and upgrades of computer hardware, operating systems, and software utilities.
* Maintain software such as UNIX OS, Linux OS, Windows, NetBackup, VMWare, ESX, Veritas VM, and Cluster services.
* Responsibilities include software and hardware installation, data backup/recovery, security administration, and network infrastructure management, ensuring seamless integration with other non-Windows and Unix systems.
* Require 5+ years of experience in administering and supporting UNIX & Linux operating systems, virtualization, systems with Oracle databases, RAID and disk/tape storage. Knowledge and experience with Veritas NetBackup and tape backups are essential. Familiarity with DHCP, DNS, Bind, and UNIX utilities is required. Experience with administering Oracle, HP, Dell, and Blade Server hardware is also necessary.
