Job Description: Milestone Technologies is hiring a Cyber Security Analyst to work remotely in the US.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Ensure continuous infrastructure reliability for multiple revenue-generating services.
Support security operations incident management to protect and restore service operations quickly, minimizing customer impact.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
3+ years of experience in 24x7 enterprise operations, preferably security operations.
1+ years of experience with SIEM, including investigations and event correlation.
Understanding of Information Security, malware, threats, attacks, and vulnerability management.
Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking concepts.
Understanding of network design principles and the OSI model.
Flexibility to be on-call or in scheduled rotations.
Service-oriented approach to incident handling and escalation.
Strong reasoning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
Ability to synthesize information quickly under pressure.
Preferred Skills:
IT-related degree or certification.
Experience analyzing data and logs to identify trends and errors.
Network, Security, or Platform certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, MCSP, CNA).
Strong experience with SIEM tools and security event processes.
