What We Do Leverage your love of history and research to help provide solid information to our teams and customers in the commercial real estate space. We are looking to add a Commercial Title Officer to our growing team in Chicago. You will support the team by performing title searches for commercial transactions, analyzing records and data, and contributing key information critical to the transaction process. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating the resolution and completion of the commercial title process. What You’ll Do Review completed title commitments for commercial transactions to analyze and produce closing requirements charts. Analyze records such as liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, and property surveys to determine ownership, legal restrictions, and verify legal descriptions. Review and approve documentation including deeds, operating agreements, and resolutions. Determine recordability requirements by reviewing title commitments and transfer tax forms; research real estate tax due dates and calculate amounts due. In some regions, consult with attorneys on search packages and escalated matters. What You’ll Bring Passion for helping customers with a professional and positive attitude. Curiosity for researching transaction histories and analyzing records. Team-oriented mindset, capable of guiding others and contributing to team success. Knowledge of MS Office and adaptability to new technologies. High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of commercial title-related experience. Pay Range: $30.14-$40.18 hourly.
