At Home Instead, we are seeking dedicated and empathetic individuals to join us in enhancing the lives of aging adults in our community. Our mission is to provide essential non-medical services that enable seniors to stay in their homes and tackle the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion.
As a Senior Care Companion, your primary responsibilities will include:
Providing companionship and engaging conversations
Assisting with light housekeeping duties and meal preparation
Offering medication reminders and helping with appointment scheduling
Providing care for clients with Alzheimer's
Treating seniors and their property with utmost respect and dignity
Communicating with clients in a friendly and approachable manner
Completing required background checks, motor vehicle record checks, and drug screenings
Possessing a social security card, valid driver's license, valid inspection sticker, and valid auto insurance (required for client transportation). **No prior experience is necessary - we provide comprehensive skills training!**
