Job Title: Helpdesk Technician Location: Canton, GA Are you a resourceful and technically adept Helpdesk Technician ready to provide hands-on support for networking, software, and cybersecurity operations in Canton, GA? We have an immediate opening for a Helpdesk Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll collaborate with our Managed Service Provider and provide day-to-day support, ensuring smooth IT operations. About the Role: Technical Support: You will provide hands-on support for networking, software, and cybersecurity operations, working alongside our Managed Service Provider. Troubleshooting & Resolution: You will quickly diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. System Administration: You will assist with endpoint, network, and system administration tasks. Security Operations: You will support cybersecurity operations, including Windows and network security. Who You Are: Experienced Technician: You have 3-5 years of IT experience, with a focus on endpoint, network, system administration, or engineering. Microsoft 365 Proficient: You are proficient with the full Microsoft 365 suite, especially Exchange Online and SharePoint. Networking Knowledge: You have hands-on experience with firewalls (WatchGuard preferred), switching, and routing basics. Technical Troubleshooting Expert: You possess strong technical troubleshooting skills. Security Minded: You have a solid understanding of Windows environments and network/computer security fundamentals. AD/DNS Proficient: You have hands-on experience with Active Directory/LDAP, DNS, and Identity Access Management. Required Skills: 3-5 years of IT experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. Hands-on experience with firewalls & networking. Technical troubleshooting skills. Understanding of Windows & Network Security. Experience with Active Directory & DNS. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, networking, IT, or equivalent work experience. MCSE/MCSA, Security+, and VMware Certified Professional certifications. Manufacturing environment experience, particularly with DFARS/CMMC compliance. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, DUO, Windows Defender, WatchGuard VPN, and VMware ESXi. Additional Info: Term: This is a 6-month contract to direct opportunity. Pay Range: $40 - $48 per hour based on prior experience Ready to Join Our Team?
