650 Hammond Way, Milpitas, California 95035, United States Responsibilities: Lead ramp operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols, productivity standards, and timely execution of tasks. Ensure KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as on-time performance, productivity rates, safety compliance, and cost management are met consistently. Take full accountability for overall P&L (Profit and Loss) responsibilities within the ramp operation. Develop and enhance employee engagement, retention, and development strategies for ramp staff. Build and maintain strong collaborative partnerships between ConGlobal and local railroad officers to ensure effective communication and operations. Serve as the key point of contact between ConGlobal and customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational transparency. Enforce and uphold ConGlobal rules, regulations, and policies, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. Address any violations promptly and administer disciplinary actions when necessary with care and professionalism. Monitor, approve, and manage terminal purchases, ensuring they align with budget expectations and financial targets. Oversee and approve weekly time & attendance data, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure the ramp is fully staffed with qualified individuals. Own and manage the training and orientation process for all employees, ensuring they are set up for ongoing success. Provide detailed ramp metrics and reports as needed to support operational decision-making. Perform other administrative and non-administrative duties as assigned to support the success of the ramp operations. Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years of intermodal, transportation, logistics, or supply chain management experience. 1-3 years of leadership experience. This position is a 'Working Manager' role that would require you to work outdoors and stand for long periods. Accountable for overall P&L responsibilities. Develops and drives existing staff to enhance engagement & retention within the terminal. Builds collaborative partnerships between ConGlobal and local railroad officers. Acts as key point of contact between ConGlobal and our customers. Enforces and upholds all ConGlobal rules, regulations, and policies. Approaches violations with care and administers disciplinary actions when required. Monitors and approves terminal purchases for payment & manages purchases within budget. Approves weekly time & attendance and ensures data is accurate and timely. Partners with talent acquisition to ensure the terminal is fully staffed. Owns the training and orientation process of all employees to ensure their ongoing success. Provides terminal metrics & reports as needed. Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
