Position Overview:
The Industrial Concept Designer will be responsible for creating innovative and functional packaging designs. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in industrial design, with a strong focus on plastics. This role requires a creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, consumer-minded design, and a deep understanding of plastic materials and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and design innovative plastic packaging concepts that align with client requirements and market trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and production, to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards. Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively. Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs. Ensure all designs comply with industry regulations and sustainability standards. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Qualifications:
You must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial design, with a focus on plastic packaging. Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and functional packaging designs. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools. In-depth knowledge of plastic materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
