Responsibilities Travel to various job sites in a company-provided vehicle Support Construction Materials Testing Manager in achieving financial goals Oversee materials testing projects to ensure proper tests are performed at the required frequency and projects meet specifications Complete proof roll observations and undercuts Staff fieldwork Provide on-site project management to complete field testing Review, update, and approve invoices weekly for ongoing projects Develop and manage projects with clients Create and update project proposals and reports Document accurate and detailed daily field activity and report findings to clients and supervisors Maintain daily communication with technicians, contractors, and other project managers Communicate verbally and electronically with field personnel and colleagues Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering Minimum of 4 years of experience required Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) Certification P.E. license preferred Valid Driver's License and a good driving record Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of our location; remote work or relocation assistance is not available.
