understands the policy and funding environment and can navigate complex govern[1]mental relationships with tact and influence. Typical Responsibilities: Collaborating closely with divisions across Contra Costa Health, such as Behavioral Health, Public Health, and the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, to coordinate and integrate care. Directing and aligning departmental goals, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance. Ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and federal and state quality assurance requirements. Providing visionary leadership that supports the overall mission and strategic direction of the Health Plan. Driving operational excellence and maintaining financial stability. Building strong, collaborative relationships across the organization and with external partners to improve the health of Contra Costa County residents. Education:
Possession of a master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business Administration, Public Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health Administration or a closely related field. Experience:
Five years full time experience in a senior administrative capacity in a health service agency or program, at least two years of which was in a health maintenance organization, prepaid health plan, independent practice association or closely related organization. Substitution:
Two years of additional qualifying administrative experience may be substituted for the required master’s degree Selection Process
