Job Title: Part-Time Family Cook/Assistant
Location: Darien, CT
Pay : $30-$35/hr
Join a warm, dynamic family in Darien, CT, as their Part-Time Family Cook/Assistant specializing in meal preparation. This role emphasizes planning and preparing healthy, organic meals while providing hands on household support for family and 2 dogs. Ideal candidate is nurturing, organized, and flexible.
Schedule
- Monday- Thursday: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Flexibility required)
- Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Meal Preparation (Primary Focus)
- Plan and prepare clean, organic meals that align with the family’s dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Develop and execute creative, nutritious recipes tailored to the family’s taste.
- Prepare meals ahead of time for busy schedules.
- Ensure the kitchen is organized and stocked with necessary ingredients, shopping when necessary.
Housekeeping & Home Support
- Occasionally provide light housekeeping assistance to executive housekeeper,
- Manage ad hoc household tasks as needed.
- Occasionally assist with transportation as needed.
- Must be dog friendly, assist with walking 2 dogs (Shihpoo's)
- Must have drivers license & vehicle, and live local. Will be reimbursed for gas/mileage for professional use.
