GQR Healthcare is seeking a LPN / LVN Correctional for a travel job in Gatesville, Texas.

Join our client's team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for night shifts in a correctional setting in Texas. This 13week assignment offers a unique opportunity to provide care in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver nursing care to individuals in a correctional facility.
Administer medications and perform IV therapy.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Adapt to a fastpaced environment and handle diverse patient needs.
Float between units as needed, within a 50mile radius.
Schedule
Night shifts from 16:45 to 05:15.
36 hours per week with potential for overtime based on performance.
Block scheduling every 4 weeks.
Qualifications
Active LVN license in Texas or compact state.
BLS certification required.
IV Therapy certification required.
Minimum of 2 years LVN experience, with at least 1 year in acute care or medsurg.
Experience in LTAC, ER, skilled nursing, or psych is advantageous.
Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in a correctional setting.
Additional Requirements
COVID19 vaccination required, with exemptions accepted.
Must be adaptable, thickskinned, and able to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
