Creation Village World School is seeking a part-time (up to 10 hours per week) Technology Support Assistant to provide weekly support across various technology functions within our campus. This role supports the integration and maintenance of technology used in academic operations, including computers, audio/visual equipment, and student technology use. The ideal candidate has technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit to help create a seamless and supportive tech environment for our teachers, students, and staff.
Key Responsibilities Provide basic troubleshooting and support for student computers (e.g., logins, updates, hardware). Assist with setup and maintenance of audio/visual systems in classrooms, chapel, and events. Support students with access and use of Toddle and school devices. Help manage device checkouts, charging stations, and classroom tech organization. Assist with printer maintenance, projector setup, and smart board functionality. Coordinate minor repairs and software updates in consultation with IT consultants. Provide support during school events requiring technical setup (e.g., chapels, musicals). Document common tech issues and share user-friendly guidance or tutorials when needed. Maintain an organized tech inventory and report needs or damage to leadership. Requirements
Qualifications
Experience providing basic IT or tech support (school or small organization preferred). Familiarity with Toddle, Office365, Google Workspace, and common classroom technologies. Comfortable working with students and staff in a school setting. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor hardware/software issues. Commitment to the mission and values of Creation Village World School. Preferred Skills Experience with Allen & Heath GLD 80, including soundboards, microphones, and projectors. Knowledge of educational technology platforms, specifically Toddle, Office365, and Google. Interest in supporting a faith-based, IB World School environment.
