Crisis Director

Job Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with Oklahoma Clinical Standards for operation of adult crisis support homes. Serve as the clinical supervisor for the regional program, contracted psychiatrists, other physicians, and state of Oklahoma officials. Maintain a system for collecting program-specific information including key data points. Maintain quality outcome data. Submit required outcome reports to DDS. Review all critical incidents and incidents of physical intervention. Maintain client confidentiality. Assist LCSW in case management functions and discharge planning, including justification for exceptional rate requests. Ensure compliance with Best Practices Standards for Behavioral Support Services. Serve as the primary liaison with the state director for the assigned region. Assist in the development of an annual operational budget for the crisis home program within the levels of contractual funding. Operate the region’s crisis assistance program within the established operational budget guidelines. Report any suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to supervisor or department head. Respond immediately when dispatched on crisis responses and be present to provide supervision to staff. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of DDS Community Provider standards and organization policies and procedures. Knowledge of health care privacy and confidentiality rules. Knowledge of person-centered care and support for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis Technologies. Must possess and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to manage program budget. Ability to manage staff from multiple educational and experience levels. Qualifications: Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work, or a related field. Minimum of 35 hours training and education in behavioral analysis and behavioral supports or Behavioral Analyst Board Certification. At least 2 years of experience with behavioral supports evaluation and services for people with developmental disabilities. Minimum of 1 year of supervision experience. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum. Maintain valid CPR and First Aid Certification. Must be willing to flex schedule accordingly to provide services, supports, care, and treatment to individuals as required.
