Weekly Work Schedule Summer Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00am to 4:30pm.
2025 ALCIVIA Internship Program Dates: May 19, 2025 through August 8, 2025.
- There is the potential to start earlier than May 19th and potential to work past August 8th.

Agronomy Sales Intern Essential Responsibilities:
The Agronomy Sales Internship at ALCIVIA is designed to provide the intern with education through real life experiences in agronomy operations, applicating, crop scouting and plant tissue/soil sampling, and agronomist sales. During this Internship, you will receive hands-on and real-life work experiences within operations/production, in-office, and on-farm.
- Job shadowing/ride-alongs with experienced Agronomist.
- Learn from multiple Agronomist sell/consult at the farm gate with the end goal of selling products and programs and growing sales and market share.
- Continuously learn and develop knowledge on our agronomy services we sell (seed products, fertilizers, chemicals, etc.)
- Conduct surveys or collect data for our agronomy customers/members.
- Attend sales training sessions, test plot days, or company outings with the Agronomist Sales Team.
- Assist with crop scouting, plant tissue sampling, and soil sampling.
- Working knowledge of Integrated Pest Management. Diagnose developing pest, disease, fertility, pH, or plant performance concerns.
- Understand, interpret, and explain information from soil samples/soil labs.
- Follow up after application fulfillment to make sure that product is performing to needs. Identify any performance deficiencies and work to resolve in a timely manner.
- Assisting operations get customer orders completed, deliver products or pickup equipment.
- Supports a team-oriented environment by interacting in a professional, collaborative, and respectful manner with all employees, clients, customers and/or vendors.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing expert advice on products and services.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by offering timely and effective solutions to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on product offerings and sales techniques.
- Other duties as assigned.
Agronomy Sales Intern Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Working toward Bachelors or Associates Degree in Agronomy, Crop & Soil Science, or related Agriculture field
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong enthusiasm for building internal and external relationships

- Strong organization and time management skills
