Job Description
The Recruiter’s primary responsibility is to identify, attract, and hire top talent for our organization. The Recruiter will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a talented workforce that aligns with our company’s goals and values. The Recruiter tasks involve sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process from start to finish and executing centralized scheduling for all retail locations.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred or

Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role, preferably within the same industry.

Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques, candidate assessment methods, and employment laws.
Key Responsibilities
-
Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and associate referrals to attract potential candidates. Set up and attend job fairs for locations in need of associates or for new store openings.

Screening and Assessment: Review resumes and applications to assess candidates’ qualifications, skill, and experience. Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates’ fit for the position. Process pre-employment background checks for all applicants.

Interviewing: Coordinate and conduct interviews to assess candidates’ suitability for specific roles. Prepare interview questions tailored to each position and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.

Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with candidates to understand their career goals and aspirations. Provide timely updates and feedback throughout the recruitment process.

Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on interviewing techniques and candidate selection.

Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system. Generate reports and metrics to track recruitment performance and identify areas of improvement. Entering new associates for all store support center and store locations. Conduct onboarding for all store support center and distribution center. Track all paperwork (tax forms, applications, onboarding forms, etc.) for all new hires. Maintain and audit all I-9 forms to be compliant. Report new hires to the state. Prepares monthly birthday card distributions.

Centralized Scheduling: Develop and maintain associate schedules based on forecasted customer traffic, sales trends, and labor budget constraints. Coordinate with store managers to understand staffing needs and adjust schedules accordingly. Monitor associate availability to accommodate scheduling needs while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.

Experience with HRIS preferred but not required.
Physical Demands
Frequent physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, dexterity, and light grasping. Occasional physical demands include lifting up to 25 lbs., bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, squatting, climbing stairs and firmly grasping. The associate is required to accept incoming calls and must be able to hear and speak. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision adequate for the incumbent to perform the responsibilities and functions of the job efficiently. The associate must have the manual dexterity to manually operate and use basic office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Work Environment and Working Conditions
This position will be performed inside a climate-controlled office facility. The noise level is low to medium and typical of an office environment. Potential hazards include electrical hazards. Atmospheric conditions are typical of an office environment and may include exposure to odors and dust. Occasional travel to job fairs, conferences, or other recruitment events may be required.
