Full Job Description Ozzy's Golden Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced
Lead Framing Carpenter
to manage framing projects for luxury custom homes, full home remodels, and large-scale additions. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of framing, drywall, finishing, and painting, while leading a crew of carpenters to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship. You will work closely with the construction team, guiding the project from start to finish, and ensuring that every detail is executed to the company's high standards. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Framing Leadership:
Oversee all framing tasks for residential construction projects, ensuring proper execution and structural integrity. Crew Management : Lead and manage a team of carpenters, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring that work is completed on time and to the highest standards. Drywall, Finishing, and Painting:
Supervise and participate in the installation of drywall, finishing work, and painting to meet the design and quality expectations of our luxury projects. Quality Craftsmanship:
Ensure all work meets Ozzy's Golden Construction's reputation for precision and quality craftsmanship. Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, architects, and other trades to ensure smooth coordination and timely project delivery. Blueprint Interpretation:
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring framing and finishing work aligns with design specifications. Material Management:
Oversee the selection, management, and use of materials, ensuring efficiency and quality in all tasks. Safety Compliance:
Ensure all tasks are performed safely, following company and industry standards. Problem-Solving : Address on-site challenges, finding effective solutions to keep the project on track and maintain quality.
The ideal candidate should possess:
Minimum of 7-10 years of carpentry experience in residential construction, including custom homes and high-end renovations. Proven experience in framing, drywall, finishing, and painting. Leadership experience managing a crew of carpenters, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously. Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
