What you'll do:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting & staffing efforts, including job postings, screening, and interviews.
- Partner with managers on performance coaching, documentation, and employee relations.
- Administer benefits, leave programs, and workers’ compensation at the plant level.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and compliance documentation.
- Conduct new hire onboarding & orientation to set employees up for success.
- Drive proactive safety initiatives, including OSHA compliance, workers’ comp, and safety committee participation.
- Assess training needs and develop programs that help employees grow.
- Ensure compliance with federal/state employment laws and company policies.
What you bring:
2+ years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in training & development.
A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
HR certification (PHR, SPHR) a plus!
Strong communication & interpersonal skills—you’ll work with employees at all levels.
A passion for problem-solving, organization, and making a positive impact.
Tech-savviness—UKG HRIS & MS Office Suite experience preferred.
