The Investor Advice Solutions team includes Schwab Wealth Advisory, Centralized Service & Operations, and the Wealth Strategies Consulting Group. Schwab Wealth Advisory offers a premier, fee-based, non-discretionary investment advisory solution that fosters personal relationships, specialized service, and ongoing advice backed by Schwab's investment philosophy. The Centralized Service & Operations team provides vital support to Fixed Income and Schwab Wealth Advisory clients, while the Wealth Strategies Consulting Group addresses complex wealth management needs through expert planning and strategy services. The Tax, Trust, and Estate Advisory role is part of a specialized team dedicated to delivering exceptional value to Schwab's advisory clients. This role enriches the services offered to Schwab Wealth Advisory Investment Advisors by addressing clients' sophisticated Tax, Trust, and Estate needs, potentially resulting in significant savings for clients. You will deliver detailed, sophisticated advice tailor-made for entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals with intricate financial situations, substantial business holdings, and expansive family estates requiring keen attention. The Wealth Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert on all implications related to clients' Tax, Trust, and Estate needs. What you will do: Build and nurture strong relationships with Financial Consultants and Wealth Advisors. Act as an in-house expert on advanced trust, estate, and income tax questions and issues. Identify hidden needs from clients to introduce additional Schwab services as applicable. Engage in presentations to various group sizes, sharing your expertise and service offerings. Educate internal partners about your capabilities and how you can support their clients, driving referrals. Leverage your experience in Tax, Trust, and Estate to enhance a growing sector of Investment Advisor Services. We prioritize partnership, integrity, top-tier client service, transparent communication, and adaptability. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. 10+ years of relevant experience. Hold at least one of the following qualifications: JD, LLM, CPA, CTFA, AEP. Previous experience as a Tax, Trust, and Estate attorney is strongly preferred. Extensive experience advising high-net-worth clients is essential. Demonstrated experience in uncovering unexpressed needs through effective diagnostics. Exceptional presentation skills with a proven record of success in collaborative settings. Strong verbal and written communication, listening, interpersonal, client service, networking, and analytical skills. Ability to engage effectively with high-net-worth clients. Proficiency in building internal relationships by collaborating closely with Branch Financial Consultants and Wealth Advisors at Schwab Wealth Advisory. Willingness to travel approximately 10% to 25%. In addition to the competitive salary, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
