The Executive Director provides administrative and operational leadership of the Providence North Division Clinical Institutes and Specialty Services as assigned by the CMO, Providence Clinical Institutes for the North Division. This role will partner with the Institute Directors of Operations and Executive Medical Directors to oversee all clinical operations, and develop and implement strategic planning and business development. Assures long-term organizational success through overall excellence of operations, outcomes, quality, service, staff and physician satisfaction.
Understand, support, and implement the mission of the Providence Clinical Institutes to deliver health care to those in need in the performance of all job responsibilities.
Establish business development objectives and long-range strategic plans for assigned institutes and specialty services in collaboration with the CMO, Providence Clinical Institutes - North Division, Divisional Chief Strategy Officer and other executive leadership.
Responsible for monitoring, directing and evaluating all clinic operations under assignment, including resource utilization, staffing, budgeting, quality, caregiver engagement, patient satisfaction, etc.
Understand sources of patients and referrals to lead in the design and implementation of strategies to maintain and grow institutes and services as well as the introduction and growth of new services.
With CMO, Providence Clinical Institutes - North Division, Regional Chief Executive PCN and other key stakeholders, prepare and recommend budgets, goals, and objectives taking into consideration input from providers.
Monitor overall performance - budget, operations, financial targets, customer service, etc.
Ensure that all accrediting/reporting standards and organizational policies/procedures are complied with.
Lead teams and divisions to meet goals and deliver outstanding results around operations, quality, finance, growth and service.
Lead by example and develop a management team that can plan, implement, evaluate and monitor change in a positive manner, involving staff participation and input as appropriate.
Conduct performance appraisals and provide positive feedback and critical input as required.
Direct the deployment of a complex mix of resources (e.g., Act independently, guided only by very broad organizational policies and objectives.
Hold regular meetings to discuss methods for improving patients and caregivers experience, efficient/safe operations and overall performance.
Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Master's Degree in Business administration or comparable field required.
8 years of proven track record in multiple areas of healthcare management, operations and corporate functions.
Financial, business development, complex project management, marketing, analytical, team building and collaborative working skills.
Working knowledge of labor contracts and application to practice where applicable.
Ability to analyze data, regulations, and practices to develop progressive and compliant programs including TJC, Title 22, etc.
Ability to effectively work in a multi-entity organization including hospitals and satellite facilities.
