The Center for Addiction Medicine is hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator who will work independently and under the supervision of the Center Program Director and/or the study Principal Investigator(s). The coordinator will support multi-year clinical research studies at the Center for Addiction Medicine (CAM), serving as the primary research coordinator on community-based trials. Responsibilities include working in the lab and at external data collection sites, patient scheduling and recruitment, administering psychiatric scales and neuropsychological tests, monitoring adverse events, managing study protocols, and database management. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Note: These duties are representative; specific responsibilities may vary. Not all duties are assigned to each position. Collect and organize patient data Maintain records and databases Use software to generate reports and graphs Assist with patient recruitment and data collection from medical records and physicians Conduct library searches and verify study forms Update study forms and document patient visits and procedures Assist with regulatory binders, QA/QC, and regulatory submissions Interview study subjects, administer questionnaires, and obtain informed consent Perform study procedures, including phlebotomy if required Write consent forms and verify subject eligibility Perform administrative support duties For Clinical Research Coordinator II, additional responsibilities include maintaining research data and study databases, performing data analysis, developing recruitment strategies, and assisting with protocol development and study reports. SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Attention to detail and good organizational skills Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively Computer literacy and knowledge of clinical research protocols Respectfulness and professionalism towards subjects Ability to work independently and as part of a team Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities Data management skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree required New graduates or those with 1-2 years of relevant experience considered for Coordinator I or II positions Bilingual applicants preferred but not required SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Coordinator I: No supervisory responsibilities; Coordinator II may assist with training new staff. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
