*Data Management Specialist – Mergers & Acquisitions*

*Job Summary:*
A leading global healthcare company is seeking a *Data Management Specialist* to support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions by managing the end-to-end data transfer process. This role involves close collaboration with global stakeholders, buyers, and sellers to ensure the smooth migration, validation, and governance of critical data assets in high-value deals. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data management, project coordination, and process standardization within a highly regulated industry.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Work closely with *global business and IT stakeholders* to facilitate seamless data management processes during M&A transactions. * Partner with Technical Leads to *develop and implement data transfer strategies* that align with business and regulatory requirements. * Oversee *data mapping, documentation, ingestion, transfer, and verification* for multi-million-dollar transactions. * Track and report data transfers in *Smartsheet*, monitor project costs, and ensure compliance with project timelines. * Support the *decommissioning and archival of applications*, ensuring data integrity and regulatory adherence. * Contribute to the *standardization of tools, processes, playbooks, and methodologies* to enhance efficiency in acquisitions and divestitures (A&D).
*Qualifications & Skills:* * Experience in *data management, M&A transactions, or IT project management*, preferably within the *healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry*. * Proficiency in *Smartsheet* or other project tracking tools. * Strong organizational and analytical skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities. * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to bridge *technical and business teams*. * Knowledge of *data governance, compliance, and application lifecycle management* is a plus.
