strategic, data-driven, and creative
Vice President of Marketing
to lead Denali’s brand, demand generation, and go-to-market strategy across a complex, service-driven business model. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in
service industry marketing —especially in
B2B, environmental services, logistics, or sustainability-focused sectors —and is passionate about accelerating business growth while supporting a more sustainable world. As a member of the senior leadership team, the VP of Marketing will drive marketing strategy, team leadership, digital and content execution, and sales enablement across all customer segments and verticals. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Brand Building:
Lead development and execution of a national marketing strategy that positions Denali as the category leader in sustainable waste solutions. Own brand strategy, messaging, and positioning—ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and platforms. Develop Denali’s voice and thought leadership in organic recycling, ESG, and circular economy sectors. Demand Generation & GTM Execution
Design and lead multi-channel campaigns (digital, trade, PR, email, events) to generate qualified leads and drive pipeline across verticals (grocery, food production, municipalities, etc.). Partner with Sales, Product, and Operations to define and execute effective go-to-market strategies for new services and markets. Build performance marketing infrastructure to track campaign ROI, lead conversion, and CAC. Content, Communications & Digital
Oversee creation of compelling content (case studies, video, social, blogs, whitepapers) to educate customers and differentiate Denali. Manage digital platforms (website, SEO/SEM, paid media, LinkedIn, email) to optimize visibility and engagement. Guide PR, media relations, and industry partnerships to amplify brand credibility. Team Development & Cross-Functional Alignment
Lead and grow a high-performing team of marketers across brand, content, demand generation, and digital. Champion alignment with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to support revenue growth and customer experience. Own marketing budget and agency/vendor relationships. Qualifications
10+ years of marketing leadership experience, including 5+ years in B2B service industry marketing (e.g., logistics, facilities, waste, sustainability, or environmental services). Proven success in building and scaling marketing teams and demand generation programs. Strong analytical mindset with deep experience in marketing attribution, funnel metrics, and campaign optimization. Experience positioning complex service offerings to diverse industries (retail, food, municipalities, manufacturing). Excellent communicator with a track record of developing high-impact brand messaging and content. Passion for sustainability, circular economy, and the role of business in driving environmental change. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
