New York Life, a Fortune 100 Company, is seeking a Director of Recruiting/Executive Assistant to assist a New York Life Executive Partner in sourcing, recruiting, and selecting new and experienced Insurance Professionals/Financial Advisors/Managers. You will be responsible for assisting a New York Life recruiter through the full cycle of the recruiting process. This is a key role within a high-growth office.
Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- CRM experience (Salesforce)
- Developing a referral network to source 20 warm recruiting candidates monthly
- Mining resume databases to identify qualified candidates and scheduling screening interviews (50 outbound calls/week)
- Conducting 20 screening interviews monthly & managing candidates through our 3-interview selection process
- Attending 10 networking meetings per month
- Managing incoming applications and scheduling qualified candidates for screening
- Keeping job postings refreshed on all sites
- Recruiting for Insurance Professional, Financial Advisor, & Management roles
- Staying updated on recruiting trends, tools, and technology
- Managing office operations, including filing, scheduling, and record-keeping
- Organizing and maintaining the calendar for the Executive Partner, coordinating meetings and appointments
- Assisting in event planning, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
- Coordinating community events to expand volunteering opportunities
