DevOps Engineer
supporting the C4ISR Solutions Operation. The candidate will guide the definition, implementation, and delivery of programs focused on modernizing software systems. The role involves infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and software deployment across the development lifecycle. There is potential to support multiple contracts, offering growth opportunities. This position is primarily on-site with a hybrid schedule supporting up to 25% remote work. Primary Responsibilities
Manage infrastructure via code using open-source and in-house tools; design reusable components for scalable, secure architectures. Provide expertise to senior engineers, oversee automated deployment, rollback, and monitoring of applications in various environments. Mentor fellow DevOps engineers. Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker/Podman, and Ansible. Ensure infrastructure, software, and configurations are consistent and under control. Collaborate with an Agile team, participate in daily scrums, and communicate effectively. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues. Identify, report, and mitigate technical risks proactively. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar; additional experience may substitute. 4-8 years of DevOps experience; US Citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance, ability to obtain Top Secret. Knowledge of DevOps trends and technologies. Experience with Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Linux, Windows, networking protocols, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in DoD environments, GitOps, cloud deployments (AWS preferred), advanced security standards, and certifications like CKA, Security+, ITIL, Top-Secret clearance, and USSTRATCOM ISPAN domain experience.
