Trusted Staffe is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our partner medical center in Santa Rosa, CA. This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic sonographic procedures under minimal supervision, contributing to accurate diagnoses and patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across various specialties (e.g., abdominal, obstetric, vascular) as ordered by physicians.Operate ultrasound equipment with precision and expertise, adjusting settings to optimize image quality.Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, recognizing normal and abnormal anatomy and identifying potential pathology.Document findings accurately and clearly in patient records.Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and accurate diagnoses.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.Required Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Medical Sonography program.Certification:
National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) upon hire.
Other:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience: 2 years of recent experience as a Medical Sonographer in an acute care setting.Benefits
