We have been exclusively retained by a leading global healthcare company to support the search for a Compliance Director, based in San Diego, CA or Dallas, Texas.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity to shape and enhance a global corporate compliance program, with a focus on revenue cycle management and healthcare regulations, within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Position Summary
The Director/Senior Director of Compliance will oversee the company’s Global Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program, with emphasis on the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) function. Acting as a key compliance business partner to the Prevention and Recovery (P&R) business units, this individual will provide guidance on compliance strategy, daily operations, policy development, investigations, and regulatory adherence—especially regarding Medicare billing, HIPAA, DMEPOS, and state/federal laws.
This leadership role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep healthcare compliance expertise and the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as primary compliance business partner to the P&R and RCM teams.
Lead daily compliance operations and support strategic initiatives.
Interpret and apply laws and regulations around Medicare, Medicaid, DMEPOS, HIPAA, and healthcare billing.
Lead risk assessments and develop corrective action plans.
Support due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and integrations.
Design and implement compliance training and audit programs.
Conduct investigations and manage external regulatory audits.
Act as U.S. Privacy Officer and oversee HIPAA compliance.
Produce executive-level compliance reporting.
Manage a compliance team and lead cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
Required:
8–12 years (Director) / 10–15 years (Senior Director) in healthcare compliance, preferably in medical device or DMEPOS sectors.
Strong command of U.S. healthcare laws: Anti-Kickback, Stark, HIPAA, Medicare regulations, etc.
Experience advising RCM/billing functions in a regulated industry.
Preferred:
Juris Doctor (JD), Master’s Degree, or industry-recognized compliance certification.
Experience as a Privacy Officer or with HIPAA-covered entities.
Familiarity with Medicare enrollment, state licensure, and accreditation.
Data analytics and project management experience.
5+ years of management experience.
Up to 25% travel, typically 2–5 day business trips.
Standard office environment with occasional physical demands (e.g., standing, sitting, crouching).
